got a 2005 carbon metallic crew cab 4x4 2500hd dmax. heres the deal, i want some better looking wheels than the stockers. dont want to lift the truck just want to know what the biggest wheel tire combo i can safely run with no rubbing issues. dont mind some minor "massaging" but no cutting of metal.
kinda like the new black m/t wheels or the classic m/t bead lock but not sure how big rim/tire i can fit. any help would be greatly apreciated...especially if you can get some pics of black wheels on carbon metallic colored trucks. thanks again.

i would go with a 18'' wheel with a set of 33/12.5/18 tires. they fit nice under a stock truck if you crank your torsions a little. i'm like you dont want to lift it cuz scared where my mileage is gonna go. i just ordered a set of chrome H2s for mine. proly run a 295/70/17 toyo mt on it.

thanks for the response, how wide can i go with that 18? will a 10 inch wide wheel fit dont want it to be buggin way out the wheel wells but i hate the tall and narrow look. i guess im lookin for a happy medium. i really like the wide tire look and dont mind it sticking out some but i want to fill the inner wheel well without rubbing issues.
