Hi everybody I bought the cool dual exhaust set up about 8 months ago I noticed that the smell from the exhaust was alot stronger.Just the other day I put the front pipe on and now this thing smells like all hell,my friend was behind me on the freeway he said my truck smelled like a thirty year old dump truck,now I'm thinking about going back to stock.If any one else has noticed the smell of the exhaust increase after modifying.Cat back or straight pipe please chime in

at one point when I did the complete exhaust change, the smell of mine was bad, but it was raw diesel fuel..it was STRONG,, couldn't put the windows down. I soon went back to stock pipes.

as of now I went back to stock pipes, but have since replaced just the front pipe with an LB7 one and no issues.
the complete exhaust kit I did messed with the EGR and threw things off (no back pressure)...I got raw fuel smell, ran terrible, and smoked at idle.
Yeah, the straight pipes make it stink really bad, like, get a wiff and cough bad.. I'm still using the MBRP dual w/straight pipe. Smell doesn't bother me anymore, plus being an LB its kept pretty far from me.
