: Power seats and mirrors

I have the SLT with leather seats and the power camper extending mirrors and thought that once memory 1 or 2 was programmed, using either the #1 or #2 transmitter, the seats and mirrors would move to the programmed postion. This isn't happening. Some have said the camper mirrors do not do this, but I thought the seats still would. Any thought would be appreciated. And one more thing, whatever happened to the homelink transmitter for the garage? I would of thought this would of been standard on the LT & SLT models. Oh well, still love this truck.

the transmitter undoubtedly went the same route as the underhood light, the bigger overhead console (02), the lights on the rear doors of the CrewCabs, etc.

Jerry01, Yes the power camper mirrors wont reset, but my seat does have the memory and it works. Sounds like a question for the dealer service dept.

I think someone mentioned on here that the ability to recall the memory functions with the remotes was eliminated for 05. I think you have to use the button on the door to recall the settings. I could be wrong.

Do you have your memory recall set to with remote in the DIC?

Apparently GM has had alot of problems with the seat recall using the key transmitter to set the seat position and removed it from the 05s. I went down this same path a few months ago when I bought my 05. They removed the option from the DIC. Now you will have to press the buttons on the door to change seat memory from driver 1 to 2.

I was quite upset to find out after ordering my 04 and installing an aftermarket sunroof that the 05's were going to be available with a factory roof, but then I saw one of those rinky-dink factory roofs and am now glad I have what I have.
