1) With the black matte finish can you run the wheels in the winter with salt and the wheel be ok unlike chrome which will peel and pit eventually?

2) What is the matte finish? Paint? Powdercoat?

3) Can you run the rims w/o the cheesy covers for the monster or rockstar? Can you use a typical hub cover with them? Like the diesels have.

OK I THINK I GOT THEM ALL..
I RUN BLACK POWDERCOATED WHEEL YEAR ROUND AND I PLOW AND SPREAD SALT WITH MINE, AS LONG AS THEY ARE COMPLETELY POWDERCOATED!!!! IF THERE ARE ANY POLISHED EDGES OR LIPS THEN YES THOSE PARTS WILL CORRODE AND CAUSE THE POWDERCOAT TO PEEL. I HAD IT HAPPEN LAST YEAR SO I SANDBLASTED THEM AND REPOWDERCOATED THEM NOW NO PROBLEMS...:beerchug:

Breen, Thanks for the info. Yeah I want to just run one set of rims and tires so I want something to hold up. I don't want to buy a good set of tires for teh stock rims and still buy one for nice rims. Did that before and it gets too expensive.
