I have an 02 6.6 liter duramax, and my buddy has an 03 withthe same size engine. He claims his base horsepower is higher than mine. Anyone know the base h.p. of these two units?

Duamax is 300 HP at the FW but what about at the ground? GM Deisel tech told me once but i forgot

I believe it's in the 260 range at the rear wheels.

250-260 depending on the driveline setup
