when i fisrt crank my truck takes two or three seconds before gauge registers. but once does registers, normal pressure. could this be just a bad sensding unit?

what are you seeing for "normal" oil pressure when the motor is cold, and how about hot?

I have only seen this after changing the oil, and I put oil in the filter. I think mine comes up as soon as I crank it up.

cold, oil pressure about 60 while driving. hot. oil pressure about 40-60. idle at 20.

mine takes about a second when i first start it.. when its cold its at like 80-90 hot idle like 40 and driving like 60..mine is good to go!

Oil pressure looks good. i wouldnt worry about the time delay unless you start seeing odd oil pressures while your driving.

x2 normal pressures. and x2 on the start off odd pressures then it could be just the gauge.
