Anyone running a lift pump and secondary racor filter? If so, I'd be curious what you went with, how you did it and what it looks like (picts).

I'm running the stanadye fm100's and they have a built in filter. If your looking for an all in one deal. I believe jakeGMC runs racors though with a liftpump

What psi do the FM100's deliver? I want something to keep up with the extreme fuel demands ... What micron rating are the FM100? I guess I need to do some exploring/reading on their web site. Was thinking about a Carter 4600 with a bypass or Holley red? ...leaning toward the Carter4600 but not sure how guys are makiig these work with the Racor secondary and if there are any issues feeding the pump from a 2 micron filter. I know they like to pump and are not designed to suck.

The filters on the FM100 are rated at 5micron. I don't have a fuel pressure gauge but I can tell you it maintains rail pressure within 3000psi. At WOT commanded is 23,200, actual is 20,500psi throughout the entire run. I think thats about as close as possible without modifiying the CP3 pump.

running 2 because the pressure is too low with just one? What PSI are you getting out of two in parallel? Have you checked rail pressure in 200 mode at WOT?

I'm running 2 becasue I was told that there wasnt enough volume with one. I actually dont have any experience with 1 to be honest. I am running them parallel so it wont increase PSI really.

About the same reports as Daryl. I've seen as much as 4k drop once and been told that it was droping 1k. normally 2-3 though but I havent looked at that a ton

Tophog,

For more FM100 info, check this out

http://www.stanadyne.com/new/ppt/ppt_dffs.asp select "99795 or 99889" Users guide or Brochure You will need Adobe.

I am running a FM100, purchased 30mic filters for it. I also run OEM and a post Mega. I run a by-pass with a needle valve to adjust pressure to 2 PSI at the test port.

Does anyone have any picts of their FM100's installed? How much are the filters and do they take a special/proprietary filter? I'll go read the info on Standyne's site. thanks for for the help.
