My big ass cant really get into my truck except for jumping, so its time for some step ups. I was looking at the N-Fabs, they look good! But did a search and say that a most of you guys that have them the paint is chiping off. I would probably have to get them Line-Xed or something to stop from that happening. Where did you guys buy your from?? Also I saw one guy had them painted to match his truck where and how much did that cost, or if someone on here wants to see theres, I could really use them. All most killed my drunked self the other night trying to get out of my truck. I need some for a 04 Crew Cab short box.!!

i like the n-fabs as well, not many places to purchase though. they are out of houston and I also think 4WP carries them although have not confirmed that.

I have them and like them. The paint seems to be chipping on the front sides of the steps only from the tires tossing rocks at them.

I ordered them painted to match direct from N-Fab.

If I did it again I'd order them as bare metal and have the powdercoated to match.

I help stop the chipping you could always put that clear protectant sheet stuff (like you can put on the front edge of the hood or rocker panels) on the leading edges of the bars to help. 4WP does sell n-fab stuff, thats where I got my pre-runner from.

Don't drive to Houston looking to buy directly from N-Fab because they only sell thru distributors... already tried that as I use to work just down the street from them. Told to go to 4WP to buy but refuse to give that place any money of mine. Maybe he'll sell to group if get enough people together.

Thats funny I purchase directly from NFab..never had a problem except for the time it took to get product..maybe they are just selling direct to previous customers now, and all others have to go through 4WP.

Maybe they've changed their policies but several years ago when I asked they only sold thru distributors. I guess they realized how much $$$ can be made selling direct. I'll have to go by there again to check it out.

Mine are 1.5 years old and I'm having to remove them and sand blast them to remove the rust. Hopefully I can get a nicer powder coating.

BB That's where I bought mine and I love them. They've been on for about 1 year and there is no chipping yet. Even with the road salt and everything they sitill look good. Price from Rocky Mountain Suspension was the best around and they were great to deal with. Good luck!
