Diesel Power 03-30-2005, 06:44 PM Jeremy have you had a chance to run that turbo on the dyno or the track yet? you've been pretty quiet and we're all curious..

duramaxdiesel 03-30-2005, 06:48 PM It's the quiet ones you have to watch out for.

Track.............they don't open up for another month, and my pulls don't start for another 3 months, other than Indy................sucks up here -:t with winter.
I have been chasing a couple of issues and didn't want to post.
They ended up being truck related, which we though, but nonetheless there was always the possibility of my new found air being the issue(was sweating that one, but all is fine now). One was a fuel issue, and have it nailed down finally, anyone got a cp3 they want to send me  Hopefully will get a pump this week, and will be headed for the dyno. I can say it pulls like a mofo up until mid throttle then it lays over due to pulling the rail pressure down to 7600psi  with just the edge 145 :(
I've got a couple of weeks of working around the house and on the truck(shhhh don't tell the wife about that):h ) so i can get things attended to quicker than only getting to work on it on a Sat, if i wasn't working it.
Diesel Power 03-31-2005, 01:49 AM You could also try one of Super Disel's pumps from Josh. Put together well, came with complete wiring harnesses and the carter is activated by boost.
heartbeatcanada 04-05-2005, 06:09 PM Fred, heres the pics. Looks a little dirty down there  ......damn salt  has destroyed my grocery getter ):h You'll be damn sure i won't win no show and shine :D
GMC-2002-Dmax 04-05-2005, 07:04 PM WOW............I thought my truck had rust.............mine is a CA truck compared to that........
That's too bad...........-:t
Anyway, it don't matter how it looks, it's how it runs......right......;)
ratlover 04-06-2005, 09:33 AM A couple of fm 100's work too ;) Built in filtration too. Superdiesels stuff seems to work really well according to a couple guys runninging it with the Xtreme and such.
duramaxdiesel 04-06-2005, 09:40 AM Well my buddy got a pump for me today. It's a Holley. It has 14 PSI and 140GPH. I'm wondering if the 14 is too high for my Quad 215/Juice stack? If so, I could always put a regulator on it set to 7PSI. Right?
ratlover 04-06-2005, 09:56 AM By the time it goes through your fule line and are you running aux filtration pre or post? I would stick a gauge on her to double check the idle psi, doubt its close to 14. One way to find out if it will work:eek: ):h
duramaxdiesel 04-06-2005, 10:33 AM I'm not running anything but my stock fuel filter. I'll let you guys know what the out come is.
