11/04 Buy truck
12/04 Add remote start - works perfectly
3/05 Add Juice w/attitude, 4" full exhaust, airbox - works perfectly
THEN-
RV Dealer adds 5th wheel hitch and plugs 7 pin socket into factory harness from behind cab, but when done truck won't start, turns over, but won't start. Puzzled, check connections, shake this, wiggle that, try again and again truck starts. Leave dealer, stop to eat, truck won't start. Disconnect Juice, truck starts. Leave Juice unhooked for 1 day, reconnect, works perfectly truck start.

Problem: Remote start works maybe 1 out of 10 times I try it, with or without Juice connected. WTF!

What do I do?

Get it back to stock and leave it that way.

Who installed the remote start system? How was it installed (wire taps, crimp connectors or soldered wires)? You may have a lose wire or just a bad connection somewhere.

Hell, at least I'm running when I want to. You guys will learn as time goes on that all this add on BS is nothing more than schrewd advertisers getting ahold of your bucks and letting you down at the most inconvenient times. Been where you are and don't care to go back.

I have plenty of money to fix it or buy me a new one..who cares..only .live once!
