Ever since I bought my van this last summer it has done a strange thing. If I am cruising about 50-53 MPH it starts surging. This is only when I am cruising, not under any load, and at a constant throttle pressure. If I slow down a little or speed up it goes away. It is always at the same speed that it does it. What could be causing this? Any ideas would be great.

Thanks

Also when you get a chance fill out your sig so we know what you are driving.

one of my 06 vans did that when it got an air leak, in the fuel line to the diesel powered heater.

I have a slight oil leak, looks like it is coming from the oil pan. I was going to take it to the dealer for that problem, I could have them look into the surging issue at the same time. Would these things be covered under warranty?

I have filled out my sig.

thanks

It should be, It is a programming issue that they know about. Mine was reprogrammed at no charge.

So I called the dealer here locally, he acted like he didn't know anything about the surging problem. He was talking like it was the tranny needing service. I explained what it was doing and even told him about the same issue with some of the forum members and that it needed a re-flash. He was blowing smoke.

I will take it in and see what happens.
