I have a 05 3500 work truck and the jump seat does not fold down. Anyone know if i can install one that folds in place of mine that does not?
If so what years would fit?

In English. Any center section from any 1999-2009 fullsize GM truck (yukon, sierra, silverado, tahoe, etc.) will fit. However, the trim level in your truck gives you an exclusive upholstery that will not be found on any "folding" center seat. Since your seat doesn't fold, I can only assume you have dark pewter. The closest match is the gray leather center, but they can be hard to find. When shopping, the only thing important to watch is that the seats from the set have seatbelts built-in, as some '99-'02 trucks are carryover (old body style) and the center does not fit.

ah yes i forgot it has to be the silverado body style not the ck which was available in half tons in 99 and hds and suvs in 99-00

also the nnbs 07-09 will fit in there but it isnt perfect match and doesnt meet up to the seats well

I got the same damn seat....thats the worst things Ive ever seen. the seat doesnt sit back far enough and doesnt fold down, and whoever sits in it is sitting straight up. stupid damn seat. sorry for the rant but Ive been loking for one too and its impossible to find one with the fake leather stuff I got.

well the jumpseat that does flip is less comfortable to sit in than the one that does not cause it is padded less on the back

but then again it doesnt flip but i cant see one being expensive to have recovered to match your interior

well i mean if you could get the material it would take about 20 mins to make a new cover and recover it. if you could sew you could do it yourself easy the botton has one seem the top had 2.
