Milligan Bio-Tech Diesel Fuel Conditioner, bought this about a month ago to try and even out the performance of winter diesel with summer. In summer months unloaded I pull between 800 - 1000 kms per tank (500 - 600 miles), but with winter fuel and colder temps, it drops to 500 - 600 kms (300 - 400 miles). First tank running Milligans I noticed a difference in operating noise levels, and smoothness, and I got 720 kms on the tank ( the average temp was 40 F) so a little warmer than the last tank, but I was impressed with the short term results of using this product. They claim a milage increase of 14% and I got 13.9% increase from the first tank I tried. My dad noticed the quieter operation, said it sounded quieter than his '05, he is also running it now. Has anyone else here used this product? At $15.00 to treat 250 gals it is cheap.

wow 14% of anything regarding fuel makes me nervous. But thats amazing if its true. If you repeat that tank after tank its cool. Whats your mpg before and after....

Sounds good. Keeps us updated. BTW, where did you buy this product? Is it available somewhere on the net?

http://www.dieselperformance.ca/ this is the outfit I bought it through, On winter fuel I usually run between 500 - 600 kms per tank, 524, 548,484,532,568,584,720( 1st tank with milligans) 648 ( 2nd tank, with a little more city driving, and a heavier foot).Winter temps seem to dictate milage as much as anything, In summer months if I'm running highway I have been able to pull 1000 kms on a tank ( ranging from 900 - a best of 1048 kms), so I'm looking forward to see the difference the additive will make( I suspect it won't be as dramatic, but heres hoping)

Hi--you guys should look into a diesel fuel additive from Amsoil--it's called diesel fuel additive concentrate or ADC--I've used this product for about 10 years--I live in Vermont--cold winters!!--I add 2 bottles 32oz. total to my main fuel tank--in my shop--per 100 gallons. I run this plus amsoil cetane boost add. year round to keep my fuel system clean and opperating to it's max!! These 2 products also protect the fuel system-from the tank forward to the injection pump, with lubricity--makes pump LIVE!!!!!!!!!

OK another tank ran through, here is the process I use to compute mileage and the results. This last tank was all city driving, hauling nitrogen tanks from job to job (five tanks - full 125# each, not sure on empty weight). 542 km -336.8 miles using 80 liters - 21.1 us gals. = 16. miles per gallon. (15.96). I always fill the tank to the same level,(so I can see the fuel level in filler neck) have 265 tires, and have checked the odometer and speedo with a GPS, reads less than 1% out.
