: shift points with hammer down dentman4054 03-29-2005, 04:55 PM well I got a little over 500 miles on the D/A so i figured time to romp a little bit. I noticed that it shifts awful early.... although that may be characteristic of a diesel. (noobie) the turbo spools up around 1800-2000 and whistles from there on out.... then around 2850-3000 it'll back off the power and shift real smooth.
