wondering if i should use a additive with each fill up or not . If so will it be harmful?thanks duramax

In Louisiana you don't need anything for gelling but lubrication isn't a bad idea. Look at the fuel lubrication thread. Might be posted in "fluids" section. Stanadyne is the only GM approved lubrication but that might mean that is the only one they tested with. In other works if they didn't test with it then it isn't approved. I switch back and forth between Stanadyne and Power Service.

STANADYNE PERFORMANCE FORMULA!!! I have used it in every diesel I have owned, and it works great..... Just my 2 cents.

i use Lucas fuel treatment
