anyone know the part number for the driver's side interior pillar trim (non-Bose) ...in graphite? Moving gauges from pillar to overhead and need the oem piece. I have the part number for the piece with bose speaker but it comes with the speaker! which obviously makes it expensive. I'll cut my own hole. :)

I was supprised yetserday when I went to the gm dealer to purchase the clother hanger clips for a suburban. Since GM left them out of our trucks I thought I would get the right color ones from a suburban and put them in the truck myself. The parts guy pulled it up and told me the price was 15.?? a peice. I said it is a small plactic piece half the size of my thumb. He said it is make of plastic so it would be expensive. I said since when it plastic expensive. He claimed all GM plastic parts have gone up due to rising oil prices as plastic is made from crude oil.

I told him forget it and that I would get them somewhere else. No telling how much they will want for the pillar trim cover.

Agreed. That is why I told him to forget it. I was there for something else and thought if they were 2 or 3 dollars then I would grab them and save a trip to the wrecking yard. Not at those prices though.
