The Bhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/censored.gif tch makes no sense. Well in in the mind of the TCM it probably makes sense but I still have no clue. I install my level 5 and reset the TAPs with my snapon scanner, see everything is in fast learn, take her out and start her learning. She learns quickly and all seems to be good except the 1-2 upshift at WOT. Its shifting at 3400ish RMP and a bit soft. This slightly pisses me off and I start trying to figure out http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/wtf.gif the deal is. I reset the TAPs again and see everything is in fast learn and retrain. Still shifts the same. I cruise up to WI Hucks shop to meet up with a few people and take care of some biz and Mark and patrick grab the tech 2 and do my garage TAPs. I start relearning again. Back to the same. Start wondering if its my converter and that unlocked at high HP its just blowing through it maybe? Only way I can see fixing that is with a tighter converter(dont think I want that but maybe i do???) or getting it to lock up sooner. Do a bit more thinking and toying and after talking to Joe he tells me he'll make me happy no matter what it takes and to get him some info from a tech 2. Ok, not a problem I will be at WI Hucks for the GTG in a bit and can do it then. Get the info Joe wanted and cleared just the 1-2 shift TAPs like he wanted, got that info, did a few WFO runs and got the readins again. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/wtf.gif Now its shifting good IMOhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/confused.gif Were the hell did that come from? Just an FYI for anybody who has rode in my truck since I got the stage 5 and noticed the nasty 1-2 shift. I cant remember who all has.

Bubba has kinda a rednech ring to it. I Like it! I got me a stage 2 bubba, It takes Budwieser instead of ATF. I tried budlite but it dont like that wussy stuff. Ony problem is I have to add a can of Skoal before I run at the track.....dosnt work too well without a buz.

Edit: I had a ton of miles on it. About 4k. I woulda thought she would be used to me riding her hard and putting her away wet. At least I always make sure she is nice and hot before I flog her and wait till she has cooled off a bit before I shut her down though.....

I can see her not being used to the shifts at low and partial throttle but I'm sure I gave her enough WOT runs;) I also dont bounce around powerlevels. I'm almost 100% positive I havent gotten on it hard in anything other than Xtreme. Only Time I am outa Xtreme is when I am plowing or once I hit the highway.

On a semi-unrelated note... I gotta say Rat - i made a stop out at Hucksdorf's on Saturday. It was worth the trip just to watch you flog her there. At least until the uniforms showed up.

Glad that lady bacon didnt show up a few seconds later:eek: She was pretty cool though. I think the one guy cop was pissed that nobody was getting a ticket. Did all that "endurance testing" when he left):h
