Looking for a good place to get some Alison Transynd and a few spin on tranny filters. Been looking through the vendors, but cant find anyone who has both. Does anyone know who carries both items and has good prices?

Thanks!

Would have thought the dealers would have higher prices, plus I would have to pay sales tax.

This would be the ALLISON dealer, NOT the GM Dealer.

Yeah, per the locator, the place I would get the Transynd is at a Ford dealer. If I went to an actual Allison dealer I would drive +/- 100 miles round trip into Phoenix.

Check for Mobil Delvac ATF (has to be Delvac). That's a TES 295 Allison approved full synthetic fluid like Transynd, only more recent. You might find it at large truck service centers — or check for a Mobil distributor. Here's a locator http://www.host.exxonmobil.com/channelpartners/ns_distributor_directory.jsp BTW, isn't Mesa only about 20 miles from Phoenix?

You could always buy the Amsoil Torque drive which is a clone to the Transynd and Amsoil has the filters for it too. My guy could hook you up at dealer cost if you want to save $ on it.

...or go to google and search "detroit diesel" in Phx. I go there to buy all my Allison transynd, spin-on filters...by the case. Spin on filters are $8 each through them, no shipping. The Allison repair center is off of 19Th Ave across the street from the Phx. Fire Dept. maintenance shop. Worth the drive
