me and my sister were going out of town to get some warrenty work done on her cts and i left my yukon with her husband. i got a call form him and he said it was over haeating so i told him to just leave it in town and get some anti-freeze. the next day my dad calls me and told me that he tried to still drive it. im assuming he blew a head gasket cause there is water in the oil. thanks for any help you have. its a 99 yukon 5.7L 4x4 with 133k miles. i sucks cause i was going to trade it in in january.

This may be your lucky day.... the vortec engines are known to have iffy intake gaskets, look there first

well i finaly got to look at it, i started to drain the oil, the engine was plum full of water, the engine locked up.:mad:
