For the boost guage I went cheap. Ten dollar acetylene low side guage.

auto meters are around 50 for the boost and 130 for the pyrometer kit through jegs.

My boost gauge is a 0 to 15 psi Stewart Warner performance series. MY Pyro gauge is an Isspro color-coded 100 to 1500*F gauge. Both of them were about $50 a piece, from different web vendors.

I like my Autometers, remember for the 6.5 you want boost gauge's that are 0-15 or 0-30 psi max or the gauge gets to hard to read. Your usally only in the 0 to 8 psi in normal operation except when at wide open throttle and that's only 12 psi.

Booth need a new hole to mount hose or sensor. Is your engine an s or f?
MIne is an s so for my boost I removed the egr and drilled the hole through the side but not inline with the center. The egr was easy to take off just 2 bolts. I am told that the pyro should be before the turbo. But mine is in the down pipe. The after market pipe had the hole already.

gauges are always fun. If you don't mind mixing and matching there is a place called rexx marine that has there beede gauges on a blowout sale. Thats where I got my oil temp and boost pressure gauge. I got the nice platinum ones (And let me tell you, for 35 bucks and 9 for shipping, These are beautiful gauges.) I need an egt gauge and the A pillar mount as well as senders and hosing before it all goes together.

But you can go here and there for little bits and pieces. Or bang it all out with a gauge kit from the above mentioned sites. Glowshift IMO has the best selection and pricing. At least from what I've heard and seen.

i got glowshift and was very disappointed with them...you get what you pay for. MY EGT never worked from day one (i know everyones already heard this story) Also I added a switch to mine so I can turn the lights off at night....kinda backwards in my opinion, how they will be dimly light during the day then supposedly when you turn on your headlights they got super bright???? IT only took 1 night trip for my to get sick of that set up. Now I flick the switch to turn them off, its too much light inside the cab. If you think about it, does your radio lights go brighter or dimmer with the head lights??? When do you need them light up more....daylight or night time? fools i say.

Why dont you just splice in to you dimmer switch thats what i did. So when they are too bright i can just dim them down. I havent blown a fuse yet with this set up.
