Every once in a wile I see in a post where someone puts parts from and LBZ fuel system on and LLY and I'm guessing they are better. What is the list parts and why are they better? I tried this in the LLY forum but no luck?

lost of guys run the lbz cp3. It holds rail pressure much better than the lly. you can get more hp out of that pump as well. you can also put a modified fuel pressure regulator on the lbz pump, put that on the lly and you have a cheaper alternative to say an industrial injection modified single cp3

Ok cool thanks, I also heard someone putting and LBZ fprv and It holds higher pressure.

I'm not sure about that, but if you go through the trouble to take the FPRV off the truck its not hard at all to shim the one you have.

Yea I have a shim kit to put on so I thought why not put on a better FPRV with the shim kit haha

won't make a difference. I think the FPRV in mine is from an LLY and I've hit over 26,000 psi FRP and it hasn't popped (it doesn't hold over 26,000 but it can hit it) the easiest way to tell is to look up part numbers.

The biggest thing I would look for from an LBZ to put on an LLY is the Turbo inlet elbo and the intake if you ever see them side by side you'd see why, the LBZ's is a ton bigger and flows allot better.

:exactly: Oh Yeah, That right there is a big help. Check out the ''Seen This Yet II'' thread on this install.

definatly the elbow. And if you need to hold more pressure than the lly fprv would hold after being shimmed just get a race valve

Yea I shimmed it today, Ill have to take a look at the LBZ intake.

The whole LBZ intake setup (from inlet to turbo) and round Donaldson filter is larger, better filtering and better flowing than the LLY intake setup. The LBZ radiator is 5.5" taller and 1" thicker and cooling fan is also 4" larger in diameter. The LBZ CP3 pump is also better at holding rail pressure.

Hey thanks for the info!
