My 04.5 just got reflashed and an new injector about 6 weeks ago because of rough idle, surge and fuel knock. These problems began reocurring about two weeks ago. I first thought it was the bank's six gun, but unplugged it and the problem was still there. Took the six gun out to have it reflashed anyway and took the truck back to the dealer, but of course they couldn't duplicate the problem. The problem is getting worse especially the knock i have it at all temperatures from about 1400 to 1900 RPM's. Does anyone have any suggestions?

try changing fuel filter and dropping some additive in the tank.

My truck goes in on thursday morning to get 2 injectors replaced. Mine is doine the same thing. Nocks, misses, runs like poop. Have they checked to make sure there aren't any more injectors dieing?

Do you have a way to check your balance rates (Predator) ? They should be +/- 4.0 in Park and +/- 6.0 in drive with foot on the brake.

My truck is behaving similarly. Due to a rough idle I have had the reflash and the #2 injector replaced (last month). Right after the new injector, I checked the balance rates and they looked worse than before. Truck still has the rough idle.

I suspect with the high rate of injector returns that test "OK" according to GM (GM Injector Restriction), that they (GM) are pushing these injectors back into the field. They might test "OK" according to GM, but they aren't playing nice in my truck.
