The other day I pulled out from a stop sign and got on it about 3/4 throttle (attitude on 4 as always) and 1/2 way through 2nd gear I felt it fall on it's face and the backdown meter was at 100% and I looked down and the egt read 1500 some degrees and I was like WTF! So I pulled over and let it idle and the egt wouldnt go below 1000 degrees. So I took it home and let it sit for 2 days and when I drove it again all was fine. Now yesterday I had it out and the egt's seemed to be running 200-300 degrees higher than normal at all throttle positions and then the SES light came on and has been on ever since. The truck runs fine, just as much power as usuall, so whats up?

I'd check your temp probe and make sure it is still installed correctly and your thermocouple wires have a good connection to the module. If so contact edge.

Did you scan the code? If so what popped up?

I don't have anything to scan the code with so I don't know. I don't think the SES light and the egt's have anything to do w/ each other though.

Edge probes especially the older ones are known for taking a ****. Make sure everything is connected good and then if it is call edge and they will zap another one too ya. I dont think the attitude took a crap.
Although with the SES light......read the code. The edge EGT reading wont throw a code.
Second thought call Edge now......
