I just purchased a 1996 C30 diesel van with a 6.5L non-turbo diesel from what I see and assume. But we all know if we assume it can make an ass out of you and me. So I figured this would be a good place to start. What I'm trying to find out is what is the difference between the non-turbo and turbo'd engines? Any extra engine block coolant passages.. anything along that nature. I'd like to put in the VGT turbo that the newer duramax's are using to get some more torque/hp and run it off biodiesel. I'm not using that stupid diesel secret recipe. Doing the proper transesterfication process for personal use as a courier/delivery (not pizzas)

Please guide me in the right direction on what is possible on this vehicle.
