Just bought a used 2002 2500 Duramax Silverado that came with an Edge chip w/ Attitude, AFE intake, Banks Exhaust and non stock tires. The tires are LT 285 / 75R-16's. I have two questions how much does this affect the mileage and can I get my speedometer and odometer reprogrammed to reflect actual speed and mileage? I currently have to read the speed on my Attitude monitor because my in dash speedometer is off by about ten percent across the speed spectrum. When I calculate the mileage from refuelings and odometer readouts, I am getting about 14-15 mpg in mostly city driving. Should it be better? Any info is appreciated.

Need a handheld programmer like HyperTech or Predator. They both have the options to set the tire size.
