Did all the diesel vans come with a block heater? I read in the owners manual and looked where it instructed. I cannot find a cord or heater on the passenger side anywhere, I have looked all over the engine compartment and can not find it.

Thanks

Does the cord just plug into the heater? Does it have to be a specific cord from the dealer?

Yes the cord just plugs into the heater. Buy from the dealer then you know you will get the correct cord and have no worries.

i have a 97 savanna with a 6.5 and am wondering if it has the block heater installed. I see no cord, and am wondering if it has the same set up as a dura max with the element on the pass. side block. thanks for the help

my element is driver side of block, and you can get the cord from any part store, just get the right prong arrangement(easy enough, just look at the element)
