I took my truck to the dealer to have the tanny fluid changed. When I came back to pick it up they said they ran out of internal filters. So they changed the fluid and the spin-on filter. Should I take the pan off and change the internal fiter? I have 64k miles on my truck and haul a 21ft bassboat mostly (never haul major loads). Thanks!

The only time you'll need to change the internal filter is when the tranny is getting overhauled. Other than that just change the spin on and don't throw out the magnet.
