I installed the Juice/Attitude on Saturday and everything went well from the drilling and tapping of the exhaust manifold (thanks Hoot), to the Attitude install. My problem is, I haven't experienced any huge power gains. Very subtle at best. I have adusted my settings from stock all the way to 5 just to try and feel something, anything. It's not happening for me. I disconnected the juice and checked the pins in the connectors, all fine. Truck starts and runs as good as ever, but no real eye-popping performance gains that I can feel. I've been on the highway and around town. The tranny shifted funny at first, but has settled down for the most part. I left the Attitude on the default settings for now. My next step is to disconnect the Attitude and try running just the Juice and setting the power levels through the module per instructions in manual. After that, it's a call to Edge, but I thought I'd try you guys first since you're the ones who talked me into this in the first place. :-) I should add this is the 1.2 version of the Juice, manufactured 3/9/05. Any ideas?

The truck has to be over 180degrees for the power to be added.
Also make sure you EGT limit isn't set too low.
Got Juice?

Yeah, don't listen to Juice, he's a maroon http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/hihi.gif
If the LLY Juices are the same as my LB7, you don't get full power until 180, but she sure wakes up at 143, 153, 163, and 180 (level 4).
Max, are the new ones like this?

What version Juice is it? The version is listed on the serial number decal. V1.2 is the current. As Max Power stated the engine must be up to operating temp to work. I have not verified cut in temp for V1.2, but it should be lower than 180°f.

It is the 1.2 version, manufactured 3/9/05. The EGT default is set at 1350 degrees. My temps haven't approached that. The trucks' operating temp is getting into the low 180's, as read from the Attitude monitor. Boost is set at 3. Due to weather and traffic concerns, I haven't had an opportunity to really open it up yet, but I was expecting more mid-range performance than I seem to be getting. It feels as though the Allison has figured things out, however. The shifting is smoother and consistent.

Just re-visited this thread, and, yeah the power is there all right. I think my problem was not allowing the engine temps to reach 180. I find the Attitude monitor is well behind the stock gauge on the dash in readings. Very happy with power and performance. Can't wait to see how she does with the camper on the back.
