I have read posts and done the math about changing tire sizes with the allison transmission. I would like to go to a 265/75R16 BF goodrich All terain KO. This would be about a 3.6 % change to the speedo (100 kmph = 103.6 kmph) which is no big deal for me. However I was wondering if the shift pattern and timing would change? Would the drivetrain notice anything and start acting funny while trying to compensate? Just wondering due to the TSB that was released about the changing of the tire size thats all.
I run 245 BFG's right now.

Anyone replying with experience in this will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The transmission shifts based on two inputs, throttle angle and output shaft speed. So it doesn't know that you changed the tires but if it causes you to push the throttle a little more because of the change, the shift pattern will change more from this than just the tire size change. So you will mostlikely see a small change in how it operates.
