I have an 04 D/A and it has been into the dealer twice for oil leaks. First it was the oil sending unit and they fix that. Now they tell me that my valve cover is cracked? Has anyone had a valve cover cracked? They say this part comes form Cal. and will take 2-3 days. I hope I have it so I can get my nicktane filter on it Dec. 20. They have had my truck longer then I have.

Never heard of a cracked vavle cover. Not impossible. Could have been overtorqued at one point. Could have been faulty from the factory.
