This is going to sound hokey but it helped today. I put socks on my fuel filters today and it raised my fuel temp about 10 degrees. It kept me from gelling at -25 today.

Get yourself some of those heater socks with batteries. LOL That should take care of the problem.

I do have some socks with the pockets for the heat packets but I was saving those for me.

thanks for the sock idea. Only seen -20 something here once, but you never know. Could have some gelling issues easier in the van than the truck, but man are they every easier to change.

Today I also put the rubber flapper piece back on that mounts up on the core support. Temps are not coming up here and IAT #2 has been in the negatives.

You use a winter front at all when its that cold?

Nope. Coolant temps have been 180ish so I have stayed away from a winter front.
