Anyone seen if their hose fitting from the power steering pump leaking? I opened my hood the other day and saw nothing but black junk all over the place. mine is just leaking now and not broken yet. I have 74K miles on my truck now, but do have the extended warranty to 100K.

I will bring mine in today to get the parts ordered and hopefully completed as soon as possible. I have read earlier posts that stated the hose bursting open. Just want to avoid that if at all possible, especially driving down the road.

I just had mine replaced. I don't know where it was leaking or even which high pressure hose. I just noticed the oily braid cover on one of them.

did theyt have it in stock or did they have to order it?

They ordered it but it only took a day. Of course GM has a distribution center is about 35 miles away so that might have something to do with it. Dealers seem to be keeping a lot smaller inventory than they used to. But that doesn't pose a problem since you can get most anything shipped from anyplace to anyplace overnight if you (or the dealer) is willing to pay the freight. If the dealer gives an order an Expedite status they have access to the parts inventory of the other dealers.

cool. thanks fellas. i will have mine in sometime soon. i don't have a puddle forming yet. but i see it all over the lines now. justr my concern before it got too bad.
