Anyone have one on there truck..was wondering what it looked like and how functional it is.. please post pics if you have them thanks in advance

twinbubba 12-15-2008, 07:05 PM I have one and love it. See my garage for pictures. It is very functional, drop the tailgate, put your foot on the back of the step to drop it down, step on the step then on the tailgate, easy as can be. When you are through with it, light tap on the bottom of it with your foot and it pops back into the stored position. I has sure saved this old mans knees and back. Do a search and you should find a thread I posted when I first installed it. At $240 it sounds expensive but how much would a hospital visit cost if you broke you leg getting in or out of your bed? It worked fine with my OEM bumper and when I installed my Buckstop rear bumper I didn't even have to make any adjustments. Easy to install too, remove two nuts that hold your bumper to the frame on the drivers side, slide the AMP Bedstep bracket over the bolts and replace the two nuts. Mount the step to the bracket with two screws, adjust it left to right so enough of it sticks out to get your foot on the edge of it to pop it down and you are through. Ten min. job. Money well spent if you are constantly getting into and out of the bed of the truck.
