Haven't heard anyone hear doing it yet, but if you look in the sport truck magazines theres a lot of duallys that have been lowered and 1 fat tire and rim in the back.
There must be advertisements for the co's that make and sell them in the magazines
Good Luck

Go to www.chromewheel.com scroll down to the CHEVY/GMC pics and click on the white GMC dually on the far right. I think that may be what you're looking for? Trucks on that site are pretty cool.

I know nothing about sled pulling, but a dually will get less traction than a single wheel truck of the same width as of one of the dually tires.
Are you looking for an extra wide tire for this application?
I would think that an extra wide tire would not dig in as well as one that is thinner but has a deep tread.
Also with the wider tires, don't you tend to throw a lot more dirt up against the sled pilling it up in front and making it harder to pull? Just a question.
