My friend has a power pup performance increaser by bullydog. Our trucks have the same engine, so we tried to tune my truck after his with the same pup. It seems like the power pup has locked onto his vin number, and won't let me use it. Is there any way to over ride this function so I can use his pup?

He would have to unload the tune out of his truck (put it back to stock), then you could load it.

Do you know if you both have an LLY or an LB7? Are the trucks the same year?

Both trucks are lb7. So, basically, only one truck can use the programer?

Yes that is correct. You have to unprogram the first truck in order to run it on your truck. This is with all programmers with the exception of the Granatelli, it will VIN LOCK to your truck and you will not be able to unload the program and use it on another truck. Think before you install... Good luck

Will the predator unlock from my lb7 to use on another lb7 of the same year?

you will need to have it save your stock settings, so when going back to stock you do not download your buddys stock stuff, i was told they would need additional storage to be able to download more than one
