I hope someone can give a me pointer here...
After looking at pictures in the DIY section, I cannot find the hose to splice in my T for the boost pressure gauge! Got my EGT in with the Hoot & Kennedy pics (worked well), but now the boost T.
Can anyone point me to some good pics that show the hose on an LLY?
Thank You!!

Those pictures are really going to be hard to come by. There is no wastegate hose on the LLY for the simple reason there is no wastegate. You going to need to get out the drill and taps or buy one of superdiesels manifolds.

SuperDiesel manifold is your best bet.

just do a search for this stuff.. its all over and its true, the LLY has no wastegate. You can do one of two things. You can purchase the SuperDiesel Manifold as stated above(easiest) or drill and tap it yourself. I searched and found this from one of our vendors.

Silly me. I have read enough posts to know that the LLY does not have a wastegate. Must have had a brain-fart when I saw a pick with the LB7 wg hose. Oh well, the drill & tap are still out from the pyro install...
thanks guys for setting me straight!

Removing the top turbo tube was not a big deal (6 bolts). The SD tube looks slick, but a drill & tap saved me a few bucks.
With the carbon build up from the egr after only 18K miles, I am glad I installed my blocker plate last week!
You don't need to remove the LLY manifold. Remove the air intake. Then remove the rubber hose on the manifold, attach it to a shop vac, stuff a rag in the manifold past where you will be drilling. Turn on the shop vac and place on the manifold(using the rubber hose you removed from the manifold). Drill and tap. Remove shop vac and pull out the rag. The manifold is angled down, so vac and rag should remove all chips. Real easy and fast. Be very careful and you will not have any chips left in the manifold. This is how I did mine. It worked slick!!

go to www.kennedydiesel.com and click on the tech tips. He shows you where you can drill and tap the intake manifold for your boost fitting.
