Finally got around to it. It was a bitch, but its done. Made a hell of a difference. Turbo Spools faster. My truck feel much more alive. Also gutted my fender and fixed a couple grounds. Just took a short drive down the street but it feel much better.

Heh heh, yeah I felt the same thing after I turned mine up...man, what a difference it made. And I was actually able to produce some black smoke for a change.:D
I got totally lucky when I turned mine up. I read the instructions about 5 times to make sure I understood them. I decided it was going to be easier to access the allen screw through the side of the IP (you can get to it from the top also). The hard part was getting the little tiny screws and cover plate off. Then I got my inspection mirror and flashlight out and looked at the hole to see that the screw was not aligned with the hole. I went to the cab and bumped the starter, then checked it again and the friggin thing was aligned perfect! I never have that kind of luck. I followed the instructions and only turned 1/4 turn.

But that's not really "turning up the IP" in the normal sense of turning up the IP.

I turned the crank by hand instead of bumping the starter. I also read the treads on "how to" a bunch. It was easier said than done. Lost like 3 bolts and the linkage clip in the engine valley. Got them back thou. I have some pics just gotta post em up. I love the added power and it smokes more now too.

You have an electronic pump too. You too must resort to the optic bump DP mentioned if you want to physically do anything to increase fueling.
The turning the IP up being described in this thread only applies to 93 or older trucks.
