Based on posts I should be able to change the oil filter without a total swap-out of the oil to extend oil changes. The "stupid" question is, doesn't all or most of the oil drain out when you pull the oil filter? What happens? :confused: Thanks! Don partsguy662 03-27-2005, 11:34 AM It's just like changing a filter on anything else don....Spin it off, spin the new one on...you might get a little oil spilled from what's in the filter itself, but it won't run out of the engine...
