When are the styles going to distractically change. Im in the market for an new truck, and like the current sierra and silverado styles, but I would like to know when the style is going to distractically change, because when the new style comes out, the current style will be cheaper. So does anyone know? I think I heard 2007 but im not sure. And does anyone know what it'll look like. Thanks!

Base on this and other web sites here is what I've read ......

Tahoe/Suburban - The new design will come out as a 2006 model, as a mid year change in January 2006.

1500 Trucks - The new design will be a 2007 model.

2500HD Trucks - They will be the last to come out, in the 2008 model year.

I would think the Tahoe/Sub. design and the 1500 design will give you an idea of what the 2500HD's will look like in 2008.

Also keep in mind the the automakers generally miss the original dates. I'm thinking it may be 2007 before we see the new Tahoe.

I think the development name of the new platform is either GMS900 or GMT900.

Does anyone have more current information???

Actually there has been a lot of recent news on the GMT-900 being moved up. Originally they were supposed to debut the SUVs in January at an auto show but they may even be in showrooms before then. Also they are trying to move up the trucks a few months. GM is being very aggressive on this, especially this late in the game.

We have been gearing up for the GMT9XX program for a couple of months now at work. Things are starting to happen quicker because they plan test runs in April and May so I would expect the new trucks as soon as the assembly plants retool over the July 4th shutdown. I think the HD's will be out sooner than MY08' because it is such a good seller. Just my opinion though.
