Ive searched around a couple of nights trying to find info on bagging a LB7 2wd dually. Ive found a bunch of pictures but does anyone have any first hand experience with lowering one? Im building a 48 COE gmc cab on a LB7 duramax chassis. The idea is to have the front bumper lay on the ground with the suspension collapsed- Im about ready to mount the cab to the chassis and I need to know how much i need to body drop the cab over the frame.

If you have a bagged dually any information would be appreciated

I have done a few of them.... where exactly is the 48 bumper going to it vs. the stock 02 bumper?

I was just talking to another customer about a similar project. I told him from past experience do the chassis first. Either run the air ride technologies front kit poss use mcgaughy's drop spindles too. 4 link on the rear. Now you know where your chassis will sit aired out. You can adjust the body mounts to get the cab to sit right where you want it. Believe me trying to get 1/2" more drop from your suspension will sometimes cost thousands.

as far as the body drop goes, i dont see how it would be any different than any other truck. Body drop the cab so that the bottom of the rockers is even with the bottom of the frame. I'm digging for some links i have saved on my computer for parts. i'll post them when i find them.
