Has anyone installed a BD full bore manifold, considering it as the factory one sucks, but I don't really know if it really does anything, it seems as though it would, but I'm looking for real world info. I would love to have a set of headers but I don't want to spend the cash. I realize I won't get the same results with the manifold, but ant info would be great!

I installed one on my truck shortly after I bought it. The factory manifold is constricted down a lot compared to the BD. I was installing gauges at the same time so that was the main reason for putting one in as it comes tapped for a pyro. Therefore I could not tell you how much it reduced EGT compared to stock. BD say's the drivers side only flows 80% of what the passenger side does. It makes sense that there would be better flow and balance. Hope this helps.

I just installed mine. Is it worth it? Maybe for peace of mind and less risk of cracking if trying to drill and tap your original but that's about it. I'm glad I did it though. I'd rather have both sides as equal as possible.

One thing though. Even though the stock drivers side manifold is flattened on the outside, the inside wall is actually thinner and closer to the head. If it wasn't, i'm sure the reduced percentage of flow would be greater.

I installed mine because I do a lot of towing and anything that can lower egts while towing heavy loads is worth the engine life IMHO. Didn't really feel a difference but sure good to know that your doing something to help the engine.

i have no experience iwth this manifold.. but it does seem like a good idea to elongate engine life, just like blocking the egr, or rerouting the pcv..

In my opinion, you would get better results installing a Diamond Eye Down Pipe than a BD manifold.

I have a Diamond eye down pipe, turbo direct pipe, and Rick Lance up pipes, 4" straight exhaust with stacks, always looking for an upgrade, do you know anything about these manifolds?

I've heard good things. But, I see alot of people getting these for the pre tapped manifold. I would like to have a Diamond Eye myself.

Yes, I have installed many and have one on my truck as we speak, installed at 2000 miles. I did not notice any difference in EGT's, power, performance or sound. It is a nice casting, bolts right up, doesn't have the necked down recess like the stock pipe does and does exactly what it says. For me and most of my customers, it is a piece of mind install and that is it.
