Im looking for a lift, that is just bolt up.

Maybe a 4"-6" max.

I dont want to do all the welding and hacking up the front, and would like something I could put back to stock, fairly easily if needed.

Also, If it were a 4" lift, what size tires can you fit without rubbing issues?

I have a 00' silverado with a 6" pro-comp lift, and with 35's it rubs from time to time

My truck is a 05' GMC 2500HD CC SB

Threre are a couple kits that allow you to return to stock. IMO Cognito is the way to go. It's a 4-6in lift but to get the full 6in you will need the UCA's and have to crank the bars a little. No welding required. You do have to make 2 cuts. 1 on the front diff ear and one to the frame I believe, not very hard at all though. It comes with a new ear for the diff so you can replace it to factory specs. The only one that requires welding is the new BDS 7in high clearance and maybe some of the really tall 10-12 lifts but I'm not 100% on that as I have never looked in depth at them. 4in lift will safely clear 33's depending on rim size and backspacing. Generally 6in lift for 35's but there are a couple running 35's with the 4in. hope this helps.

Skyjacker is the only kit I've heard about in a 4-6" lift height that is a straight bolt in with no cutting. I think there is a little grinding involved but that's pretty well it. According to Skyjacker it was designed to allow your truck to be returned to stock. As far as the quality, I'm not very familiar with their IFS kits but I did have a couple of their kits on my old SFA Chevys and they worked well with no problems.
