This may not be a huge emergency, but I have no clue so I figured I better ask.
Changed the front gear oil today, switched to Mobile 1 synthetic. Went to install the white breather and of course cross threaded it all to hell. So I put the old black breather back on, synthetic oil still in there. Can I drive the truck?
If so how long can I go with the old breather in there? Just a few miles or a couple of hundred?

I would think you could drive several hundred miles before the black breather would go bad. Just get another white one when ya can.
