Does anyone know if... definitively... the Duramax equipped trucks (in LTZ trim) come with the High Idle? Some of the Window stickers specifically call it out as an option, some don't... but have it.
What up?

All LTZ's have the high idle option controlled by the DIC, I turn my off in the summer, on in the winter, nice thing to have. Won't speak for other trims. Chris

All LMMs have a elevated idle feature that helps warm the engine when it is below 32 degrees. There is an OPTION called "High Idle Switch" (which is really just programming in the ECM) that allows the engine speed to be controlled by the cruise control buttons no matter what the temp is. Useful for a PTO, etc.
Two different things...

It's a little more than just programing;) Also you can not add the "High Idle Switch" option to a truck that did not come with it from the factory
