But anyway when i pull the spin on off the dealer left the magnet on the inside of the filter off. Do you think this hurt anything? I also noticed the fluid looks real real dark. I have never seen new tranny fluid that comes in these trucks so does it look like that or is mine just nasty as hell? Sorry for the stupid questions

Change fluid now if you have not already done so.
Re install the magnet and you'll be good to go!
You have not hurt anything by running without the magnet for the short term but I'd get her back in there asap.
