Does anyone have a picture of their boost gauge install using the "T" in the map sensor line. Have a friend trying to do the install this way and can't find the right line or map sensor. A picture of the map sensor would also be helpful. All I can find on the site are the drill and tap method pics.

See the black hose with the "1" upside down? This is the line to the wastegate which I tapped for my boost pressure. I just cut this line, inserted a "T", and then ran my line to the boost gauge.

Here's mine. I used a brass all-female 3/8" tee with 2 brass 3/8 male pipe x 1/4" hose barb fittings in the hose run and a 3/8" x 1/8" reducer for the boost pressure compression fitting. All these items are over-the counter at any auto parts or home supply store. I'm not sure what you mean by "MAP sensor" There's a MAF sensor (Mass Air Flow) in the intake tube just downstream of the airbox, but that has nothing to do with a boost gauge install. The boost gauge is teed into the waste gate actuator hose which is clearly located between the tap on the oulet of the turbo housing and the wastegate actuator canister.

No hose on the LLY.
Have to drill and tap or PM Super Diesel for one of his manifolds.
Page 2 of the following thread shows one of SD's Manifolds. This is on an LB7 but the LLY's are not much differant.
