I think somebody is forgetting that Imperial (Canadian) gallons are larger than US gallons. There are 1.2 US gallons per Imperial gallon. 3.785 Liters = 1 US gallon. So .929 cdn/liter = $3.516 cdn /US gallon. The exchange rate from cdn to us dollars is 1.218 cdn = 1.00 US So 3.516 cdn/US gallon = $2.886 US/US gallon.
