I've notcied loud diesel chatter under hard acceleration lately.Seems to be around 3000 rpms and just for a secound,sounds like a powerstroke for that second.I usally alwys have my radio on so i dont know if this noise was always there.Any ideas

Sounds like pilot injection kicking out,havent had my LBZ up to 3,000 under power.My LB7 would kick out at 2,700 rpm and sound like any diesel without pilot injection,scare the hell out of you the first time!
