I have the Aero tank -- they are in Corona on the 91 fwy. 64 gallons and I love it. Kinda pricey, and they install it, but after the sticker shock you will love yours.

I filled up in Albuquerque and when got back to So. Cal, still had 1/4 of a tank. An added bonus, you can select where you buy your fuel-- not so when you have a small tank and need fuel now. :)

I have one it's all right the only thing i dont like is it sits lower than the frame.
I have acually got high centered on it and it dident break they tell me its flexible im just suprised i dident break the fuel lines on the top of the tank between the body.

I have a 52 gal fuel Titan tank installed right now and it is awesome. Thinking about getting the 50 gal Trans flow for the bed also only because we have orders back to Alaska!!!!!!!!! (HELL YA!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Can't wait to hunt caribou and fill up one time!! By the way getting a solid 21MPG on the highway!!

Sorry I'm as excited as shit!! John

I think this post will be moved to the fuel section.

Dropped off the truck today. The guy told me dont be surprised if your gauge reads full for atleast 150miles and now when the gas light comes on you will still have around 10gallons left. Cant wait

I am thinking of doing the same thing. I am curious to see how yours goes when you do it.

Don't count on it. When my light comes on, I'm empty. And the gauge starts to move right away, just slowly. Don't get me wrong, I'm more than happy with my Aerotank. My dad has one on his LMM too. One thing though, they advertise 48gal, I've actually put in over 49 once up to the neck. And if you park facing down hill when you are low on fuel, it will drain to the front and your light may come on for a while. Enjoy your new tank, I have!

I have the Titan 52 Gallon tank and a Transfer Flow 109 in-bed transfer tank. Had to mount it sideways to make it work. Traveled from East Texas to Anchorage Alaska. Took 6 days of travel. Going through Canada, I only had to fill up twice. But I was getting about 10 to 12 MPG. Hauling a 28 ft. Cargo Trailer full of all my $H!T.

Don't be surprised if your gauge goes to empty, and fuel light comes on, -- there is a glitch in the sender -- it shorts out when when you have only used 5 gallons or so. It appears the contact in the sender shorts when it is at the top and this makes the gauge go to empty. After you use a few more gallons it will correct self and read correct. Many have had this problem -even with the in-bed tanks. Mine does not do it all the time- I live with it.

I don't think replacing the sender will correct this problem.

You can have the range reading in the DIC re-calibrated with EFI program- but will only go up to 999 miles. Mine was done, and is pretty accurate after it comes below 999 miles

EFILive can recalibrate the fuel tank size and the fuel gauge. I've checked with Ross regarding recalibrating the DIC (which we don't think we offer) and would be interested to hear how you did yours - perhaps your result is just a by product of setting up the fuel tank and fuel gauge with a high level of accuracy?

Cheers

With a FULL 52 gallons of fuel (53.8 gallons oddly according to the pump) and at 21mpg highway my range according to my trip odometer is 1030 miles before going nearly dead empty. My DIC reads 565 miles to empty at every fill up (highway) and stays there for nearly 3/5th tank.

I need to fix mine with EFI.

I have a Titan tank and will say I LOVE the extra range. I put it on my 2006 CCSB...

I just bought a 2008 CCSB and it's got the 26 gal stock tank and it's lame to watch the fuel gauge drop so fast!!! I've got another tank on order.

I know I'm not yet a preferred vendor, but I am a dealer for Titan tanks, and they are manufacturer is about 15 miles from me. If anyone has interest feel free to PM me. (admin, please let me know if I need to get set up as a vendor to do this... thanks)

Just got the Titan 52 gal tank installed. Got P0087 code a few days after. Had new fuel filter installed still showed fuel restriction. Blew compressed air thought lines and cleared. Took it back to installer and he pulled the sending unit. Had some black plastic around sending unit. He checked for other debris but didn't find anything. Hope this solved the problem. I did not notice fuel milage decrease due to having the fuel cooler being blocked. The way the tank is constructed it look as if the cooler will still get a good amount of air. Anyone notice any change with having the fuel cooler blocked by the tank?
I really enjoy the increased range.

The fuel cooler seems to be a joke. Mine is bypassed with my Titan installed.

I assume the tank sits on the drivers side of the truck. Does all that extra fuel weight cause the truck to sag to that side?

TwistedLogic010

I dont notice any sag. Yes its on the same side

My Aero tank full (72g) drops the truck a 1/4" on the drivers side. Not noticeable by the eye.

Mine is not bypassed. Wonder why some are and others not? I have the Super Series (52 gal.)

I think he means the airflow is restricted, not physically bypassed by rerouting the fuel lines. The normal install does not bypass the fuel cooler unless he has done it on his own. The restricted airflow was a concern I had when I was researching this tank but I couldn't find anyone that had any negative effects relating to fuel by installing this tank.Mine has been on a little less than year and I've been happy with it overall except for the front crossbar attachment which they say they are fixing. And the tank sliding fwd issue which is easily fixed.

Oh yeah,no noticeable body drop on mine either(43 gal)

The only time the cooler will be any benefit is when the outside temp is 90 F or greater-- and I doubt it has any effect on fuel mileage if by-passed. I guess you would have more evaporation if the fuel is hot.

TwistedLogic010

I Physically bypassed mine. Did not connect the cooler. I felt it was not necessary really with the temps we get. If it does, I will re attach it and relocate it so it does 'work'.

I got the new bracket from Ttan this week. Looks better and should not slide. Have to drill through frame.
