any guesstimation?
txguppy 03-24-2005, 09:42 PM You gotta have a Public Scale around there, just take to get weighed. I weighed mine @ 7440# full tank, grill guard, rolltop, and myself.
GMC-2002-Dmax 03-24-2005, 09:43 PM 6900 lbs with you in the truck..........
Mine scaled with a single driver and full weight is 7050.........
You got a few goodies I don't have .........250 lbs is what I guess that stuff weighs.......
tophog 03-24-2005, 11:20 PM I was going to say 6900 as well before someone beat me to it :) ... so I'll go 6850. Hey, this feels like playing the "Price is Right" game ):h
qwikernu 03-25-2005, 01:56 AM Bed 250, batt 40, spare 40, backseat 60. I'd say you're at 6760? Go weigh it I wanna see how close we are. But why take the bed off when you really need the weight bias?
Micheal Tomac 03-25-2005, 02:23 AM 6700
RyanU 03-25-2005, 04:11 AM i think i might strip it down tomorrow and go hit the local scales, so we'll see whos the closest
RyanU 03-25-2005, 04:12 AM btw i have nerf bars and traction bars that stay on
jnieberlein 03-25-2005, 05:38 AM 7083:exactly: lbs
fredw 03-25-2005, 07:10 AM i wll go with 7048lbs
Mike_in_Wisc 03-25-2005, 07:21 AM Hey, this feels like playing the "Price is Right" game ):h
Just in case all you are over weight, I bid one pound :exactly:
mine weighed 6750 once 6850 another time with stock bumper, spare tire, 2 batteries, 305 70 16 x terrains,16x 8 alum. wheels, a pulling hitch and me 205, i couldn't believe it was that light go down to your local co op they will weigh ya for probably for nothing
Super Diesel 03-25-2005, 10:48 AM 7100lbs for $500 Alan?
jnieberlein 03-29-2005, 04:56 AM Did you ever weigh it? the tension is killing me
Buckeye03 03-29-2005, 08:39 AM 6951 Bob
qwikernu 03-29-2005, 08:54 AM Get her weighed is she Big and Beautiful or a Plumper?:pig:
Fred G 03-29-2005, 09:53 AM My CC/SB clocked in at over 7K with just me and Jr on board. 7200 or so. Sounds like you would be around 6900-6950......
RyanU 03-29-2005, 11:15 PM hopefully tom, i think i located a scale here close
03 Radio Flyer 03-30-2005, 12:14 AM Mine was right at 10,580 lbs on CAT scale by itself, but seldom does it drop below 25,800 lbs. I just race on a different track than most folks here!
RF
CHEVYDOG 03-30-2005, 02:11 AM I guess mines a little light, 02 dmax/allison, crewcab,longbed/ 2wd
weighed it today with 1/4 tank plus 2 passengers.
6540 lbs
RyanU 03-30-2005, 05:12 PM weighed it today. w/ me(170), toolbox(+or- 100), only 1 batt, backseat in, tailgate on, no spare tire, and 3/4 tank of fuel(compared to 1/4 when racing) it came in at 7300
ratlover 03-30-2005, 05:20 PM I noticed the worse ever drop in rail pressure when I ran at 1/4 tank. Dropped about 4k or so. This was with the lift pumps. Maybe it was a fluke or something? I run with more fuel personaly. Edit: Dindt notice any difference in the SOP meter
6730 for me last time I weighed......Hopefully I can get her stripped to the 6400-6500 range. Added weight will be traction bars and LP and also N2O stuff.
How about one of those cool man roll pans? I have been thinking of one but I duno if I want to go that route
qwikernu 04-01-2005, 08:54 AM Thought you were goin' to yank the bed off????? ok go back to the scales...
Slick 04-01-2005, 09:06 AM Just the tailgate, not the whole bed.):h
He might as well take the hood and doors off if he did that.
Micheal Tomac 04-01-2005, 10:49 AM weighed it today. w/ me(170), toolbox(+or- 100), only 1 batt, backseat in, tailgate on, no spare tire, and 3/4 tank of fuel(compared to 1/4 when racing) it came in at 7300
that would put your race weight at 7000
RyanU 04-01-2005, 02:32 PM i was looking the other day at the manufacturers of my wheels and tires. found out my wheels weigh 38lbs and my tires 88. thats 126 of tire/wheel time 4 is 504 lbs of tires and wheels. compared to a 16" wheel w/ a BFG 285 that combo weighed 66lbs. leaving me with 60 extra lbs per tire/wheel or 240 extra lbs total and thats rotating weight. i cant wait to go back to the track with diff tires and wheels.
RyanU 04-01-2005, 02:33 PM that would put your race weight at 7000
i was guessin about 6950 so looks like i was somewhere in that area when i ran.
